How to measure the Horizontal Output Transistor.

Since many question how to measure the horizontal output transistor (actually I also wonder why a lot of questions about it), so this time we will discuss it more simple to find broken / not his alone.

How to measure the horizontal output transistor using a multi-tester is as follows: Turn the knob to the X10 ohm tester.

1. Attach the BLACK pen and pen RED Transistor PIN1 in PIN2 Note: tester needle moves to the   right but not full, mark stops.
2. Attach the BLACK pen and pen on PIN1 Transistor RED at pin3 Note: tester needle move a little more to the right than the first measurement.
3. Attach the RED pen and pen BLACK PIN1 transistors on pin2. Note: tester needle does not move.
4. Attach the RED pen and pen BLACK PIN1 transistors on pin3. Note: needle tester moves like measurements in no.2
5. Attach the BLACK pen and pen RED PIN2 transistors on pin3. Note: tester needle does not move.

If the measurement results (more or less) is not as above, almost certainly Transistor Horizontal Damage. Replace it with a good quality transistor. That's all and thank you.
